This year’s American Music Awards will air on Nov. 21 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The award committee announced the nominees on Tuesday, with a list covering popular artists in each music genre.
Eminem and country group Lady Antebellum lead the nominations with five nods each. Em oddly earned a nomination for Favorite Male Artist in both the Pop and Rap/Hip Hop categories, going against Justin Bieber as well as Drake. Drake’s album Thank Me Laterwill go up against Recovery and The Adventures of Bobby Ray in the Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Music Album section.
