Last October, Kansas City emcee and Strange Music co-founder Tech N9ne released K.O.D. An acroynm for “King of Darkness,” it’s little surprise that the independent Rap titan deemed that collection of songs his darkest, and some of his most personal. This week, via his blog, TheRealTechN9ne.com, the veteran talent revealed that he may have some supplementary material from those sessions available to fans in the form of an EP called Seepage.

Explaining that he was recently overseas alongside his artist Kutt Kalhoun when both emcees received tragic news about loved ones, Tech wrote, “I went to my iPod to escape sadness. While going [through] my playlist, I stumbled upon [five] paid for but unused beats from the K.O.D. collection. As much as I wanted to run from them, Seepage was born. To all the people that interview me, I would rather not talk about Seepage simply because I told fans on the Lost Scripts that those would be the last of K.O.D. I thought I could stay clear of K.O.D. but found out there’s no way out totally. So until I can figure out how to balance this thing I’d rather not speak on it due my lack of understanding.” The aforementioned Lost Scripts released in March of this year.

Tech N9ne’s blog is taking pre-orders on the Seepage EP. (September 28)
