Ludacris will join CNN as one of many stars who will help name the Top 10 CNN heroes of 2010. CNN’s Anderson Cooper will serve as host and the event will be live from Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on Thanksgiving evening. The show will help everyday heroes by displaying their work, acknowledging how they help make improvements to the world.

There have been thousands of nominations from all over the world and Luda will join the panel of judges to help select the top 10. Other stars will also serve as judges, including Muhammad Ali, Richard Branson, Holly Robinson Peete, Ricky Martin and more.

“CNN Heroes has illustrated the best of humanity through the telling of stories of selfless acts of kindness, courage and perseverance” Jim Walton, president of CNN Worldwide, said in a statement. “We are honored to bring these Heroes the recognition they so deserve. It is a program the entire CNN family is proud of and excited to share with our viewers on Thanksgiving night.”

$25,000 will be awarded to all of the Heroes selected in the Top 10 but only one will leave with $100,000.
