Hip Hop producer/emcee and deejay K.O. The Legend recently collaborated with singer Samantha Marq for her “Super Girl” inspired comic. The California native produced Marq’s track, which is the basis for a motion comic, which was recently created by Marvel Comics’ Alvin Lee.

“Super Girl” is the lead single from Marq’s 2009 album, Evolution of Love in Dysfunction.

Lee, who has been with Marvel since 2007, said in a statement, “Samantha’s single ‘Super Girl’ lent itself perfectly to a motion comic. It was really cool to work on this project, and it’s sweet to finally see the fruits of my labor.” Lee has worked on Dark Minds, Neon Cyber and X-Men: Age of Apocalypse, among others.
