On October 25, Richmond, Virginia emcee Skillz will release his fourth official solo album, The World Needs More Skillz on E1 Entertainment. The Supafriends member and onetime ghostwriter for Will Smith and Jermaine Dupri and Diddy’s latest work was widdled down from over 200 recorded songs.

“I don’t cover any of the same topics as before,” Skillz said in a statement. “I’m working with producers who are experimenting with new techniques. It’s just a refreshing sound.” The rapper’s latest album will feature two R&B crooners in Bilal and Raheem DeVaughn.

UPDATE: It was announced today that Skillz has prepared a mixtape, Infamous Quotes, as a promotional tool for October’s The World Needs More Skillz. Mixed and hosted by Skillz’ touring partner DJ Jazzy Jeff, as well as J. Period, the tape is based off of common and memorable sentences people say to each other.
