After speaking with HipHopDX late last month about the prospects of collaborating with Lil Wayne, Strange Music co-founder and Kansas City, Missouri veteran emcee Tech N9ne confirmed this week that the two finally met.

Even Eminem said he was jealous of him,” Tech told HipHopDX in an August feature. In that conversation, the K.O.D.-maker revealed that the two had never met, despite a mutual respect.

Lil Wayne’s August Funkmaster Flex interview, whereby the Young Money Records head claiming he wanted to work with Tech N9ne and Andre 3000 prompted this ongoing discussion.

Earlier this summer, Tech N9ne released The Gates Mixed Plate, his third “Collabos” album.
