New Orleans’ Twelve A’Klok, born Argell White, was shot and killed Monday morning. The shooting took place on Parc Brittany Boulevard in New Orleans, where his body was found by a newspaper deliverer. Few details about the shooting have been released, but it is now known that he was declared dead upon the arrival of police and paramedics, according to NOLA.com.

Twelve A’Klok was a member of Cut Throat Committee, a record label that was also home to his cousin and fellow rapper, James “Soulja Slim” Tapp. Slim was also killed in 2003.

Twelve A’Klok released various albums through Cut Throat, including Lost 2 the World, Cold Case, Over Kill and more.  

According to reports, he lived in Harvey, Louisiana and was a husband and a father.
