The connection from Boston to France is strong with M Dot and Jean Maron as they bring forth their project, Run MPC. M Dot, a Boston representative, and Maron, a French DJ, share the spotlight with various other emcees in a compilation project boasting with intriguing names.
Veteran emcees Masta Ace, Chino XL, Kool G. Rap, Keith Murray and Edo G. show up on various cuts. Others like DX Next artist Torae and Sha Stimuli appear alongside Punchline, Termanology and many more.
Run MPC is slated to be released August 31.

In other news, newcomers can be present their talents at this year’s Be Seen And Be Heard, presented by Chart Vision. The event is set to be on August 7 and it will be the eighth time that it takes place, bringing creative executives from various companies to meet new artists.
This year’s panelists will include various A&R consultants like Terrence “Future” Lemaile-Williams and Brandon Kitchen (A&R Consultant, Atlantic Records/Artist Publishing Group). Attendees can also count on seeing Universal Music Group’s Artist Development Rep Josh Remsberg.
