In an interview with myFOX Los Angeles, former drug kingpin Freeway Ricky Ross speaks on his current lawsuit against rapper Rick Ross.
“I did 20 years in prison,” Freeway Ricky Ross explained. “And boocoo money went into making this name what it is today. So I feel that it was mine, I own it, and I want it back.”
Freeway Ricky Ross is suing Rick Ross for the amount of 10 million dollars and half of the rapper’s royalties. Ricky Ross claims that the rapper has used his name to garner a successful rap career.
“It’s mine,” said Ricky Ross. “It’s like somebody stole your car. And they painted [it] and put wheels on it they like. And it’s still your car.”
Aside from possibly costing Rick Ross millions of dollars the lawsuit against the rapper may also delay the release of his upcoming album Teflon Don.
