In the last month, Sean “Diddy” Combs has made news, stating via Twitter and public performances such as Sunday’s Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York, that he has created a Rap super-ground. Initially called “The Supreme Team,” the outfit includes Diddy, Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes and Bad Boy Records rookie Red Café. There have also been talks of Fabolous’ involvement.
Yesterday afternoon, via Twitter (@IAmDiddy), the music industry mogul revealed that due to another group having the Supreme Team name registered, the group will now be known as The Dream Team.
There has yet to be any word on release or label plans to date. (June 19)
UPDATE: Via Twitter this past weekend, Diddy announced that Fat Joe would be the latest addition to The Dream Team. Joe is also a member of Terror Squad and Diggin’ In The Crates. He has yet to speak publicly about the new association.
