To promote his self-titled fourth studio album, Houston rapper/producer Wine-O will be taking his music on the road to state prisons across the country.

Gaining success providing beats for the likes of Paul Wall, Mike Jones and Slim Thug, Wine-O explained the 15-date tour is a much-needed way to keep in contact with fans behind bars. “I feel that it’s important to hit a market that is often forgot about,” he said. Once a man of the prison system, he added, “I hope that other artists like T.I. and Lil Wayne do the same.”

Wine-O is currently scheduled for an August 24 release through World Wide Music/E1 Music. Tour dates will be released in the coming weeks.

In other news, The 7th Annual Hunts Point Fish Parade & Summer Festival will be taking place this Saturday (6/19) in Bronx, New York.

Finally, Kat Stacks’ name continues to make headlines, but for all the wrong reasons.

In an article recently produced by AdAge.com entitled, “Is Kat Stacks the Creepiest Twitter Trend Ever?,” the self-proclaimed Hip Hop groupie and entertainment escort made the sites top ten list of trending topics. As they explain, “Why did she blow up so big this week? Per the What the Trend crowd sourced explanation: ‘because a video that shows several men slapping & pushing her around is circulating on the Internet’ — those men allegedly being associated with one or more rappers Ms. Stacks has badmouthed.”
