On Twitter yesterday, the newly-registered Rick Ross (@RickyRozay) hinted that his Kanye West-produced “Monster” may see a high-profile video director. After F. Gary Gray (Friday) directed the “Super High” video, the Miami Rap star hinted, via a TwitPic that Spike Lee may be poised to call the visual actions to “Monster.” The song has been said to appear on both Ross’ Teflon Don as well as Kanye West’s Good Ass Job, though neither has been confirmed.
Previously, Lee has notably directed videos for Public Enemy, Naugty By Nature and Arrested Development.
HipHopDX will keep you updated. Teflon Don is scheduled for July 20 release on Def Jam Records.
