After spending the latter part of last decade working in the independent film industry, former No Limit Records duo Kane & Abel are returning their business to music with Back On Money.
As their first album since 2003’s Welcome Home, Kane & Abel explained, “We are excited about this new opportunity to reintroduce ourselves and our music to the fans and what better way than to have a great partner like E1 [Music], we now have a one stop shop for all our high quality content [in] music, movies and TV shows.”
With expected features from Juelz Santana, Bun B and Yung Joc, Kane added, “We went for a raw sound. You can hear a little bit of our East coast roots, and we haven’t lost our dirty south swagger.”
Back On Money will be released July 27 through E1 Music. The tentative track list can be viewed below.
