New York rapper Jadakiss recently spoke on the status of his tentatively-titled fourth studio album Top Five Dead Or Alive.
In an interview with Jenny Boom Boom of Hartford’s Hot 93.7 radio station, Jadakiss stated the album will drop as early as October, following the releases of Def Jam label mates The-Dream, Rick Ross, Kanye West and Young Jeezy.
With three songs already finished, Jada explained, “Their huge songs. That’s why I’m taking so long and that’s why I’m being so careful with the production. The beats don’t even need words on them, that’s how good the production is.”
While his previous three albums were between 17 to 21 tracks long, Jadakiss says Top Five Dead Or Alive will be a shortened 12 to14 records.
