Yeah, you heard right! Loud Records is set to relaunch its label. An as yet unnamed company and Loud have decided to begin a label relationship with Steve Rifkind still playing the primary role as leader. An inside source from Loud Records said that a deal with Interscope Records was a possible route that the company had been looking into.
Reportedly, Loud was soon to be signing a contract with the large company. Loud Records previously shutdown earlier this year due to several different issues (i.e. record sales…). Artists such as Mobb Deep,Wu-Tang Clan, Project Pat, Dead Prez and Three Six Mafia all found new homes when Loud Records closed their doors. Although it is unclear if any of the artists will be trying to reestablish a business relationship with the company.
