Pusha T and Malice recently cleared up rumors of a potential break-up and explained that even though each member is gearing up to release separate projects, it doesn’t constitute a split.
“As most people know, we’re looking into doing our own solo albums,” Malice told BrooklynBodega.com. “There are different sides to the Clipse. And you know, when we come together as Clipse we have to honor that brand and what the people know us for. Everybody has more than one side, you know what I’m saying? I think I let people in on my spiritual side a lot as of lately.”
Although Pusha T told Vibe last week that both members want to produce more content on their Re-Up Gang record label, other rumors have been flying suggesting that Malice is signed to Roc Nation. The rapper was tight-lipped about the possible truth to the speculation, and explicitly said that he could not confirm that significant detail.
“I didn’t even know [the deal] got off the ground, B. I’m not even talking about that…I would tell you. When we’re ready, we’ll talk about that.”
