Renowned deejay and tastemaker Funkmaster Flex will be premiering his new series “Funk Flex Full Throttle” this Sunday (May 2) on MTV2.

The show will give viewers a look into Flex’s very own custom car shop, a personal hobby the New York radio personality has turned into a viable business. As would be expected, guest artists will stop by the shop to catch up with Flex on their latest happenings in the music business. The kick-off show of “Funk Flex Full Throttle” will feature an appearance by Toronto rapper Drake, who will speak on his current rise to success as well as his highly-anticipated album Thank Me Later. Other guests expected to visit Flex’s show this season include Swizz Beatz, Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, Maino, and many others.

The debut show of “Funk Flex Full Throttle” will air on Sunday at 2 p.m. (ET/PT).

In other news, veteran radio host, personality, and notable blogger Charlamagne Tha God will be returning to airwaves next month to host the radio show “Concrete Jungle” on South Carolina’s 92.5 The Box.

Along with his “Concrete Jungle” spot, which begins May 8 and airs 2-6 p.m. every Saturday, the former “Wendy Williams Show” co-host will also spotlight up-and-coming international talents on his new show “Next In Line.” Speaking on the opportunity to make a return to radio, Charlamagne said, “I’m always excited about getting a chance to express myself over the airwaves. People already know what I do, but I’m most excited about getting a chance to let artists who aren’t really heard on the radio be heard.”

Charlamagne’s latest ventures don’t stop there as the recent success of his webisode series “Hood State of the Union” alongside comedian Lil Duval has spawned a website, HoodStateoftheUnion.com. The duo’s site will feature new and original sketch comedy pieces, as well as keep fans up to date with their current work. TheHoodStateoftheUnion.com will launch on May 12.
