Drake and Justin Bieber may come from different genres, but they represent the same nation. Fellow Canadians, the two are also connected in other ways. Teen pop sensation Bieber got the Young Money emcee’s support during a video shoot for his latest single, the Ludacris assisted “Baby.” Now it seems the two will also be working together, according to a recent interview with Complex.

“Basically, he’s from Canada [too], and we met through mutual people and became homies. He wanted to show love, so he came out to the video shoot.”

There’s also a level of respect that is there between the two young stars.

“He’s a great artist and we’ve already talked about [a collaboration]; we haven’t done it yet, but it’s definitely in the works.”

With the Luda guest spot behind him and a Drake feature in the future, he also added that having more Rap in his music would be a plus. However, he did not jump at the chance to record with Gucci Mane.

“I listen to some Gucci songs, but I’m trying to do my own thing at this point. It would be fun to get a little bit more Rap music into what I do, but I think I’ll keep it more pop and R&B. I had a lot of fun working with Ludacris, though.”
