West coast emcee pioneer Aceyalone has certainly been a pillar for independent Hip Hop in Los Angeles for nearly 20 years. Now the front-man for ’90s cipher mainstays Freestyle Fellowship is offering his rhyme insights in the form of a class. For $150 a week, Aceyalone will kick students the science of Hip Hop and how to kick a rhyme.
“Need Hip Hop and Rapp Lessons? 2 days a week! 3 hr sessions ..$25 an hr. Learn Hip Hop History and how to Be Fresh and impress your friends,” wrote the emcee earlier this week on Twitter (@Aceyallone).
A day later, the Haiku D’Etat emcee added that he received a positive response. “I’d like to that everyone for the overwhelming response that we’ve received,” wrote Aceyalone a day later. Classes are reportedly set to begin March 31st. Late registration is open until Tax Day, April 15.
