Two instrumental Queens emcees will join forces once more in the medium of acting. On March 16, Onyx’s Sticky Fingaz will guest star on CBS’s NCIS: Los Angeles series. Sticky will join LL Cool J, the series’ star, for the episode titled “Blood Brothers.” The duo previously worked together in the 1998 film In Too Deep.
Sticky Fingaz’ Major Independents provided HipHopDX with a small synopsis of the CBS one hour episode. “The investigation of a drive-by shooting has the NCIS team searching Los Angeles for a dead Marine’s younger brother who may be the next target and the one with the answers. Sticky plays a character named “Slide” who is a tough gang leader and former soldier who was dishonorably discharged from the Army for his persistent gang activity. He has compiled a long rap sheet of various crimes and appears to be on his way to becoming a full-fledged sociopath. Slide comes head to head with Special Agent Sam Hanna, played by LL Cool J.”
The insiders said that the acting duo enjoyed their reunion on the top-rated show. Presently, Sticky is at work with Onyx recording their Rock & Roll-themed album, The Black Rock. He will also be participating in the Hip Hop Summit April 25th in Moscow as well as touring Germany, Australia and Ukraine followed by a leading role in the new Rel Dowdell feature film Changing The Game which will film in Philadelphia.
