Finally, after a suspicious fire severely damaged the Philadelphia International Records (PIR) offices over the weekend, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame owners Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff plan to rebuild it back to its original state.

Known as the “Sound of Philadelphia” offices, PIR was home to dozens of hit singles and albums created by legendary artists such as Michael Jackson, Lou Rawls and Teddy Pendergrass. In recent years, PIR was celebrated as a local iconic tourist destination for Philadelphians to visit.

Gamble and Huff will continue their pursuit of the culprit behind the fire.
