After dropping his debut album If Tomorrow Comes… last summer, New York rapper Maino plans to make 2010 a bigger year for Hustle Hard Entertainment.

He has already started the year off right with the digital release of the Unstoppable EP (Feb. 2), which features the single “Get ‘Em Tiger” as well as three new tracks. This new EP is a precursor to his sophomore effort, The Day After Tomorrow, which is tentatively scheduled for a summer release through Atlantic Records.

The first single off The Day After Tomorrow will premiere next Monday (Feb. 8), which is reportedly produced by Kwame. Other production credits on the new release include Scram Jones, Mister Rogers, and GQ Beats.

In other news, Saigon recently clarified his current status with Atlantic Records.

While the Brooklyn emcee had previously stated he and Just Blaze left Atlantic in search of greener pastures, he toldAllHipHop.com that is not the case. “We’re still on Atlantic…They’re the real paper gangsters.”

Citing the masters of The Greatest Story Never Told as a major negotiating factor between both sides, Saigon has no plans to part ways with his debut album when the release eventually takes place. “When they finally come back with something decent, I’m willing to accept,” he said.
