Philadelphia emcee and onetime Re-Up Gang member Sandman has launched his own event promoting the talents from the City of Brotherly Love. Joining forces with Gene Banks, Jr. for Philadelphia Coalition Performances otherwise known as P.C.P., the first show takes place tonight, Wednesday January 27, at  the Q-BA Lounge at 3rd & Girard in Philadelphia. Appearing at the event are Reed Dollarz, James Cagnie, Kree Forch, Supa Flyboys and Sandman himself.

Intent on giving the Philadelphia Hip Hop community an opportunity to perform live, the onetime Interscope Records emcee is pleased with the support that the night has secured so far. “I’m sick of Philly emcees / Femcees not having anywhere to perform and I want to thank all the emcees and femcees from Philadelphia for your participation,” he said in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “Philly supports Philly and I lead by example,” the DXnext alum concluded.

Artists are booked for P.C.P. right up until March with appearances by Black Deniro, Tone Trump, Lady Murk, E–Ness and many more scheduled to take to the stage.
