Miami Rapper Rick Ross is hosting a blood drive tomorrow, January 18 to help with the victims of Tuesday’s devastating earthquake in Haiti. Alongside Rick Ross is 24 Hour Fitness and The Community Blood Center, who will be collecting blood donations to send to Port-Au-Prince.
“We have to come together to assist Haiti in any way possible. Give blood, donate what you can and remember the relief efforts for Haiti need to be long term,” he said in a press release.
Rick Ross will appear at the blood drive between the hours of 5:30pm – 10:30pm at 24 Hour Fitness, located at 8385 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines.
Last year, the Maybach Music Group owner performed at the Starfest Music Festival in Haiti which brings awareness to people of the Caribbean in conjunction with the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. The festival brings together some of the world’s top artists in Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae and jazz, with cultural and educational events.
