Since I have been asked about this event I am going to give information to those hip-hop heads that are planning a vacation this summer should seriously think about attending the fourth annual Hip-hop and R&B Sashi Festival in Ochos Rios, Jamaica on August 21st-25 of this year. Yeah you heard right, Jamaica, Mon! With four days of scheduled partying and events, it is sure to be one of the hottest events of the year. Scheduled performances at the Sashi concert on Sunday will be Usher, Busta Rhymes, Super Cat, Eve, Major Damage, Tweet and Donnell Jones.
Here is a highlight of some of the scheduled events:
On the 21st their will be a charity fundraiser to benefit the Mona Rehab will bring together celebrities from music, film and fashion to raise money for the children’s organization. Afterward there will be a “Slumber Yard” Pajama party. The 22nd brings a fashion show for the Sashi clothing line precedes a “Big Ballers” Champagne Afterparty that will continue until morning with breakfast being served in the end. The finale will be on the 25th with the annual concert and afterparty.
