Bone Thugs N Harmony‘s Bizzy Bone has joined forces with super-producer DJ Quik for a New Year’s Eve celebration at the Key Club on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, he told HipHopDX.com Tuesday.
The event, which will be broadcast live via pay-per-view, is sponsored by Los Angeles radio station KDAY. The pay-per-view feed is expected to cost about $2.
“We getting everybody cleared up, and they can look it up on my website. Me in the limo, everybody poppin’ bottles, Quik and his family,” Bizzy to HipHopDX.
Quik and Bizzy are celebrating more than the new year: the two have recently went into the lab to create music.

“I went over to Quik’s house, to his mansion up on the hill, and we recorded some records together,” Bizzy said. “He’s a great artist and a personal friend of mine.”
At this time, Bizzy is also busy with his Bone brothers. Their new album, Uni5: the World’s Enemy, has a new release date of March 2, 2010, according to Bizzy.
Aware of the hiatus of the group as the full-fledged, five-member unit that Eazy E introduced to the world, Bizzy addressed the collective’s relevance in the current music marketplace head on.
“Soon as Flesh got out, we recorded 50 songs, some with Interscope, some with Warner Bros. We decided to roll with Warner Bros.,” Bizzy said. “It’s out of a want to be together and put some music out. It’s not a desperation album. It’s an album to pattern the people for the next decade.”

Confirmed guest appearances include Game, DJ Quik and Chamillionaire.
In addition to Uni5: The World’s Enemy, fans of Bizzy’s unique vocalized raps can look forward something more avant-garde from the artist: a solo Rock record, which he said will be out April 20.
