Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., better known as Lil Wayne, and 11 members of his entourage were detained Friday in Falfurrias, Texas after being stopped by the United States Border Patrol where officials found marijuana on two of the tour buses.

Earlier today, TMZ reported that Wayne’s lawyer said the rapper did not receive any citations unlike some of the others on board. The amount of marijuana that was discovered is unknown but agents claim that no drugs were found on Wayne or any members of his entourage, and that the drugs the dog sniffing K-9 units tracked down were stashed on the bus.

The Grammy award winning emcee was scheduled to perform in Laredo, Texas at the Laredo Entertainment Center on Friday evening but because of the incident, the show was postponed. According to the event center’s website, the concert has been rescheduled for this evening.

The Rebirth rapper’s troubles are far from over as Wayne is scheduled to serve prison time in February after a gun was found on his tour bus back in 2007. He is also facing separate charges for felony weapons and drug possession after a 2008 search of his tour bus in Arizona where authorities discovered marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy and a handgun.
