With so much going on in the hip-hop game with different record labels, one top label has plans on getting their artists back in the game this summer. Ruff Ryders is doing big things this year with most of their roster releasing an album, movie or book. First up in the line up is Styles P of The Lox, dropping his first solo joint aptly titled “A Gangster and a Gentleman”, in stores July 9th. Also doing big this is the super producer Swizz Beatz, who has decided to add the role of rapper to his long resume with his own solo venture” G.H.E.T.T.O Stories, featuring guest spots by Bounty Killer (on the HOT track “Guilty”), Lil Kim and of course the Ruff Ryders family.

In August you can be on the lookout for Eve’s third album “EVE-olution” hitting stories nationwide, which will feature the track “Gangsta Love” with Alicia Keys. Eve also has her own clothing line titled “Fetish”, hitting stores later this year and two movies in theatre’s this summer, “XXX” and “Barbershop”. Ruff Ryders producer Seven has been doing big moves producing tracks for Mariah Carey’s new album. It’s been a minute, but we can now look forward to DMX going back into the studio in Chicago on July 10th to begin work on his new album. X is also putting in work on the film “Cradle to the Grave” with Jet Li, hopefully coming to a theatre later this year.
