Along with being one of Hip Hop’s newest shining stars, rapper Wale also has a passion for his local sports teams, especially his Washington Redskins.

On December 27, Wale will be performing during halftime of the Redskins game verse the Dallas Cowboys. He is scheduled to perform a medley of his first two singles in “Chillin’” and “Pretty Girls.”

Excited about Wale’s performance, Redskin’s star wide receiver Santana Moss stated, “I’m really happy that a local rapper from the D.C. area will be performing at a Redskins game. Wale is an upcoming star who has performed with Jay-Z and with many other artists in the business. He’ll do a great job providing excitement and entertainment for our crowd. It will be a great halftime show.”

Wale recently released his debut album Attention: Deficit via Allido/Interscope Records last month, which debuted in the Billboard Top 200 its first week.
