Ice-T’s Warning Of ‘Insanity’ Amid Presidential Election Resurfaces

Ice-T is less than pleased about the “insanity” surrounding the presidential election, and though he notes he’s not Republican nor Democrat, he’s clear on who he’s voting for.

Taking to X on Monday (October 28), Ice reminded his followers that he warned such craziness would ensue and denounced the hate coming from supporters of Donald Trump.

“As this election gets closer I warned you to expect insanity. What I hate the most is finding out that people I consider friends are Racists..” he began. “They may like me, but talk shit about other races openly. And probably don’t like other Black people. ‘Make America Great Again’ (By the way America is a Continent including Mexico)

“I’m not Democrat or Republican.. But CHARACTER is more important to me than politics. FUCK [clown emoji] And those that roll with him.”

Earlier this year, Chuck D weighed in, saying he believes he and Ice-T have been misinterpreted over the decades since he launched his career.

The Public Enemy frontman took to X in March to share his observations on Ice-T – who is considered a pioneer of gangster rap, with his early tracks like “6 in the Mornin’” setting a template for the sub-genre. But what Chuck pointed out is that many of Ice’s songs have a moral.

“6 in the Mornin’,” for example, finds the protagonist, a “self-made monster of the city streets,” arrested and locked up (though unrepentant when he’s released seven years later). And in his 1988 track “High Rollers,” Ice says explicitly, “fast money leads to a fast life and a quick death.”

“Many People don’t understand that when [Ice-T] talks about gangsterISH anything… he is steering you far away from fkn with that life. His stories say it and he clearly says its a better road than being FAKE at it,” Chuck wrote.

Ice, understandably, agreed with his longtime friend’s assessment.

“The Streets are VERY exciting and attractive to an outsider,” he replied, while quoting Chuck’s statement. “The FLASH of the the Hustler and the Game… But I’ve always tried to tell em that ‘It’s Fun in the beginning, But it’s PAIN in the end..’”

    1. Once upon a time the cop killer’s now slobbing on the guvts knob just like Cube. North America is a continent. America the phrase is context dependent, but obviously Trump was referring to the US. It’s fair to say Kamala is equally as racist as Trump if not more as hard as that is to swallow. Party support doesn’t necessarily dictate racism. Lots of people are just picking what they deem to be the lesser of 2 evils. Don’t fw either side but it’s pathetic insanity twisting words to virtue signal publicly.

      1. @What Life is full of shitty options. It’s called being an adult. The point in is not to make things unnecessarily harder for oneself and others for short term personal gain. That’s exactly what a MAGA vote is…owning the Libs at the expense of the gdamn country. Fck that. Fck Trump. And Fck MAGA.

      2. @Gem How is Kamala more qualified? You think she can do better at the border? Lower taxes? Bring the country together? Biden hates half the country, and so does Kamala. Brow beating someone into voting how you want them to never works.

      3. @Gem Lord Do you like arguing with yourself? Did you miss the part where I said I don’t fw either side. If you’re voting at all you’re a simp to think that it counts in the first place. Take it you’re voting for Kamala lol. I think you are lost but cool do you.
