Ice Spice has definitely been feeling herself more and more as of late, and the MTV Awards winner recently proved that by celebrating her more recent asset developments.

The “Munch” rapper took to Twitter on Wednesday (September 13) to quote-tweet a photo of herself hugging Taylor Swift. In the photo, her assets are quite prominently featured, and the rapper herself (real name Isis Naija Gaston) couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

“Damn i aint kno i was that thick hold on,” she wrote in the tweet.

Despite her increasingly impressive assets and accomplishments, Ice Spice still manages to find a way to stay humble, as she demonstrated when she took home an MTV Award for Best New Artist at the VMAs.

While rocking an all-white tutu dress and diamond accessories, the Bronx rap star thanked her supporters and God for her Moonman award on Tuesday (September 12) on the VMAs stage in Newark, New Jersey.

“Y’all, thank you so much,” she said while visibly tearing up. “Thank you MTV. Oh my God, this is so cool. I just want to thank my Munchkins. I love you guys so much. I want to thank my manager James. I want to thank my producer Riot [USA] for making the best music with me.”

She added: “Shoutout to all the other nominees in this category. Shoutout to my label 10K and Capitol for always supporting me. And of course, God. Without God, none of this would be possible. Shoutout the Bronx, period! Thank you guys, I love you so much!”

Ice Spice beat out GloRillaKaliii, Peso Pluma, PinkPantheress and Reneé Rapp for the coveted award, which marks her first.

This is the sixth consecutive year that a female artist has won in the Best New Artist category. The “Munch” rapper follows Cardi B (2018), Billie Eilish (2019), Doja Cat (2019), Olivia Rodrigo (2021) and Dove Cameron (2022).

Of those names, all but Cardi and Cameron went on to earn Grammy nominations for Best New Artist. Only time will tell whether Ice Spice will follow suit at next year’s Grammys.

The 23-year-old’s VMAs win continues her groundbreaking year and comes shortly after she was crowned Billboard‘s Rookie of the Year for 2023.
