Things became even more interesting in January when the two linked up for their first collaboration “Gangsta Boo,” taken from Spice’s debut EP Like..?

Named after the late Memphis rap legend and built around a sample of Diddy’s “I Need a Girl (Part 2),” the song is full of flirtatious chemistry as both artists rap about their respective romantic interests.

Prior to the song’s release, Lil Tjay was arrested while en route to the music video shoot in NYC. The 21-year-old was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon after police discovered several loaded handguns in his Cadillac Escalade during a traffic stop.

Neither Tjay nor the four other men he was riding with were able to provide a license to carry any of the weapons. He was later released from jail after posting a $90,000 bond.
