Welcome back to Hip Hop Live, everyone! We’ve got an exciting week lined up, which kicks off with CunninLynguists and the QN5 Crew on Friday (August 7) evening at the HighLine Ballroom in New York, NY. The event, which is sponsored by 2Dopeboyz.com, will feature the entire QN5 roster on stage: Cunninlynguists, who will be performing their 2006 release A Piece of Strange [click to read] in its entirety backed by Kentucky-based band Club Dub, Tonedeff, PackFM, Substantial, Mr. Sos, Session, Koyaki, DJ JS-1 and more!
Also performing Friday are De La Soul, who take take the stage at Masquerade in Atlanta, GA at 7:00 PM. Southern legend Scarface graces the Dow Event Center in Saginaw, MI on Friday at 8:00 PM, and Freeway, Hezekiah and Kimberly Nicole close out the night at Southpaw in Brooklyn, NY at 9:00PM.
Saturday (August 8) sees Method Man, Redman and Ghostface Killah at the House of Blues Dallas in Dallas, TX at 7:00 PM. On Sunday (August 9), DMX makes a triumphant return to touring at Revolution Live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL at 10:00 PM. Beatboxing extraordinaire Rahzel will be at The Social in Orlando, FL on Thursday (August 13) at 9:00 PM, while Lil Wayne can be seen at Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal Citywalk in Universal City, CA on the same night at 7:15PM.

…is Rakim at the HighLine Ballroom in New York, NY on Thursday (August 13) at 9:00PM! The Microphone Fiend is set to release his highly anticipated album, The Seventh Seal, in September.
