Anderson .Paak’s latest project Oxnard has made its debut on the Billboard 200 for the week ending November 22. While it didn’t make the Top 10, the Dr. Dre-executive produced album only missed it by one spot, settling at No. 11. It marks the highest debut of his career.
Elsewhere on the chart, Mariah Carey’s Caution album landed in the Top 5 while Mike WiLL Made-It’s Creed II soundtrack entered the chart at No. 49.
Meanwhile, Travis Scott’s Astroworld, Drake’s Scorpion, Trippie Redd’s A Love Letter To You 3 and Metro Boomin’s Not All Heroes Wear Capes all held their Top 10 positions.

Anderson .Paak’s Oxnard album has hit the chart at No. 11 with 38,992 total album equivalent units, 16,507 pure album sales and a streaming count of 28,041,225. Executive produced by Dr. Dre, the 14-track project features Kendrick Lamar, Pusha T, Snoop Dogg, J. Cole and Q-Tip, among others.
Paak’s career trajectory continues to inch him closer and closer to impenetrable mainstream success. Oxnard follows the Grammy Award-nominated Malibu, which debuted at No. 79 upon its 2016 release, while 2014’s Venice didn’t chart at all. It seems it’s only up from here.

Vision Of Album Sales
Pop/R&B royalty Mariah Carey’s new project Caution has made its debut at No. 4. Boasting 51,011 total album equivalent units, 43,397 pure album sales and a streaming count of 9,028,759, the album is the Songbird Supreme’s first album in four years. It lists Timbaland, Gunna and Ty Dolla $ign among its various guests.
The Grammy Award winner’s last effort, 2014’s Me. I Am Mariah. The Elusive Chanteuse, debuted at No. 3 with roughly 58,000 copies sold in its first week.

Creed II: The Album, which was curated by sought-after producer Mike WiLL Made-It, has made its Billboard 200 entrance at No. 49 with 15,386 total album equivalent units, 1,847 pure album sales and a streaming count of 16,519,721.
Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Nas, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Quavo, Pharrell, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Rae Sremmurd, Gucci Mane, Young Thug and Ella Mai all make contributions to the project.
Creed II marks the eighth installment in the Rocky film franchise and stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Johnson. It was released in theaters on November 21.

Anderson pakk had every guest available and still flopped. Tekashi69 gets hated on but is still far more successful than anderson pakk had.

real artists don’t live for soundscan numbers, they make music they feel proud of regardless of what numbers they do. Paak is eating well these days. He’s worked with a lot of people since the Compton soundtrack. And he got noticed by Dre and got to sign with him and release work under Aftermath. How long 69 gonna be around, those same kids who make him popular now will be on to the next one in what 2-3 years. And he’ll be broke, in prison, or a casualty. Paak winning.

69 is garbage. Paak album was good. Who gives a shit if it doesn’t do great numbers. He’s a gifted musician. I guess the young generation doesn’t know good music. That’s why hip hop is garbage these days.
