The #1 Bad Boy, Sean “Diddy” Combs, was awarded this year’s
Fragrance Award (Fifi) for his number 1 selling fragrance, Unforgivable.
Aside Michael Jordan, Diddy is the only African American to
win the Fifi award. Being the #1 seller for 2006, beating out all the
competition in both men’s and women’s fragrances.
Diddy is set to release Unforgivable Woman this upcoming
September to pair with his Sean John Woman’s clothing line.
Vanity Fair Makes History
Vanity Fair magazine
is setting history with their upcoming “Africa” issue, by releasing twenty separate
covers including the likes of Alicia Keys and Jay-Z.
Guest edited by U2’s Bono, the magazine will be on newsstands
this month and will involve political figures, celebrities and clergy who are
all involved in actions to help improve Africa’s overall condition. From charitable
organizations, humanitarian efforts and financial contributions.
Each cover showcasing a pair, Jay-Z will be aside Alicia
Keys and George Clooney, while Alicia is also tagged with former super
model Iman. The magazine will also feature notable icons
such as Warren Buffett, Muhammad Ali, Maya Angelou, Done Cheadle, George Clooney, President George
Bush, Barack Obama, Dijimon Hounsou, Bill and Melinda Gates, Iman, Madonna, Brad Pitt, Condoleezza Rice, Desmond Tutu, Oprah, Chris Rock, Bono and Queen Rania (of Jordan). All photos shot by

“It’s like what
do all these people have in common? They don’t, but one thing they do [share]
is their passion for Africa and they believe the problems of Africa can be solved
… That’s what this issue of Vanity
Fair is all about, to bring some sex appeal to the idea of wanting to
change the world,” said Bono.
Vanity Fair will
donate $5 (of every online subscription that is purchased in June) to the
Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
