The Wu-Tang Clan is hitting the stage at The Voodoo Music Experience. This means, the crew that created classic cuts like The Triumph will be able to rock on the same stage as alternative acts such as My Chemical Romance, The Flaming Lips, Social Distortion and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
The Wu won’t be the only Hip-Hop act in attendance. Ozomatli will also be gracing the Voodoo stage. Ozomatli is a crew consisting of eclectic musicians who play everything from Cumbia to Hip-Hop. In fact, the group has collaborated with such Hip-Hop icons as De La Soul and Common among other rap greats like Cut Chemist and Chali 2na.

Lyfe Jennings has finalized his album’s release date for August 15. The Phoenix, which follows his critically acclaimed debut Lyfe 268-192, is set to be released on Columbia.
With Phoenix, Lyfe gets accompaniment from Young Buck and Three 6 Mafia, according to Billboard. In order to pay his respects to fallen legends of rap, he has created a remake of Tupac’s classic Keep Ya Head Up. He also wrote Biggie N*gga, a dedication to the late Notorious B.I.G.
