It looks like Chuck D and Public Enemy can still cause some controversy. According to PE’s DJ Johnny Juice Rosado, MTV’s standards committee has refused to play Public Enemy’s new single. They have rejected “Give The Peeps What They Need” because of Chuck’s line of “free Mumia and H Rap Brown.” In order to get the video played they would have to remove that line and all the images of the two political prisoners from the video.
