There is no shortage of head scratching squabbles in Hip Hop history, but MC Hammer going at Jay-Z may be the strangest. If anything, it was certainly unexpected.
Earlier this week Jay-Z reacted to Hammer’s song “Better Run Run 
,” and made it clear that he wasn’t taking a shot, nor would he respond with a song.
Just as he did to set this in motion, Hammer responded to Jay-Z’s words via Twitter.

hammer was probably feeling like there was all kinds of potential opportunities out there for him. Think about it his show on A&E just started off not to long ago , he back in the public view but a few months later one of the biggest rappers and influences in hiphop basically put his name out there as someone who will never return , that shit must have been like a knife in hamsters side. One cant blame him for fighting back there was an opportunity somewhere in that melee for hammer to capitalize in some way shape or form , but obviously he didnt go the right way about it. This beef will be forgotten within a couple weeks or so , idk if hammer’s show is still airing but i imagine if it does go for another season there will be a lot more ppl willing to spend there abundant free time watching hammer and family. We’ll see how it plays out tho.
