Gunna appears to have made an unlikely friend in Will Ferrell after he was seen sharing a laugh with the legendary actor and comedian at a recent L.A. Kings game.
Footage from the Kings’ contest against the Calgary Flames on Thursday (April 11) began circulating this week and showed the Atlanta rapper and Step Brothers star seemingly enjoying a joke while sat next to each other in the front row.

The pair’s apparent rapport surprised many fans on social media, with one writing: “So random but I love it.”
Another joked: “Weirdest cross over in the multiverse.”
Gunna and Ferrell proved to be a good luck charm for the Kings as they beat the Flames by a score of 4 goals to 1, clinching a playoff berth.
Gunna has been plenty busy recently. Earlier this week, the 30-year-old announced his new album One of Wun, the follow-up to last year’s A Gift & a Curse.
The cover art for the project, designed by artist Calvin Clausell Jr., is a painting of the rapper and depicts him with a blue and white floral scarf covering his face.

Further details, including a release date, have yet to be announced, but Gunna did say in his Instagram post that the album is “OTW.”
He has also treated fans to two potential singles from the One of Wun: “Bittersweet” and the Offset-assisted “Prada Dem.”
The former, released in February, seemingly extended an olive branch to Lil Baby, who had called Gunna a “rat” following his controversial plea deal in the RICO case against his and Young Thug‘s YSL collective.
“You my dawg, I don’t care if we fall out, I never could diss you,” he rapped on the song.

On the latter, which arrived in March, Gunna took on a different tone as he again fought back against the allegations that he snitched on Thug to secure his release from jail.
“I set the trend, I’m a trendsetter/ I’m not a rat, still gettin’ cheddar,” he spit.
