Gunna has been enjoying the spoils of his high-profile career, spending some quality time with his rumored beau P Litty for her recent birthday.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Sunday (December 3), P – who is featured on the the Atlanta rapper’s platinum-selling “Fukumean” – thanked him for what appears to have been a dinner with Gunna and a few close friends.

It’s unclear how long the pair have been dating, but P posted a photo of them wearing PJs with each other’s face on them back in September; so they’ve certainly been rocking pretty hard for a few months.

Gunna’s post-prison success has certainly proved naysayers wrong who thought his snitching controversy would hurt him. While he has always maintained that he didn’t snitch, some Young Thug fans still didn’t believe him – until Thug’s father spoke out in Wunna’s defense.

The elder Williams took to Infamous Sylvia’s radio show in September to set the record straight once and for all about whether Gunna’s plea deal hurt his son’s YSL RICO case.

“I love Gunna,” he said. “Let me try to help the attorney clarify that a little simpler. Gunna hasn’t done anything whatsoever that can hurt us on this case. Period.”

Meanwhile, the RICO trial is finally in progress after many delays and over a year and a half since Thug and Gunna were arrested alongside other YSL crew members — many of whom have also pleaded out. On its third day last week, the trial hit a snag as some members of the jury were identified via a live stream.

On Wednesday (November 29), Judge Ural Glanville confirmed that four of the jurors had been seen on film and were identified on social media.

As seen in a screenshot captured by No Jumper, one person had commented: “I know that n-gga with the glasses on!!! That’s [redacted name] he is on the jury.”

Judge Glanville asked the media in the room to discontinue filming Detective Mark Belknap’s face as he testified, but said that audio would still be allowed. Belknap is an 18-year veteran of the Atlanta Police Department, as well as Vice President of the Georgia Gang Investigators Association. During his time on the stand, he testified that YSL was a hybrid street gang.

Days earlier, the first day of trial started over an hour late because a juror was missing. In addition, Fulton County Chief Deputy District Attorney Adriane Love did not finish her opening statement, as minutes into it, there were so many objections that Judge Glanville was forced to clear the jury from the courtroom.

Young Thug’s legal team claimed that she was “burden shifting” in her explanation of the case to jurors – wrongly making it appear that the defendants would need to prove that they were innocent. Eventually, Thugger’s lawyer, Brian Steel, moved for a mistrial after he claimed Love had shown jurors evidence that had already been banned from the case.

The request was denied, though Judge Glanville did reprimand Love and her team for how they opened. A lunch break was then called and there were “extended disputes” between both sides, and jurors returned to continue opening statements through the afternoon.

The trial is expected to last upwards of a year.
