After a 2018 full of hype and some stellar guest appearances, Benny The Butcher, 1/3 of the Griselda Records brood celebrates Black Friday and his birthday with the release of his highly anticipated LP Tana Talk 3.
For weeks, the Buffalo MC had been bragging about bringing it back to the bars, and fans definitely won’t be disappointed.
The 14-song project features guest vocals from both Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine (obviously) as well as Mayhem Lauren and Royce The 5’9. As with all Griselda releases, the production has a consistent moody feel — in this case, handled exclusively by in-house beat-smith Daringer, as well as Alchemist.
The album will be celebrated along with his birthday tonight in his hometown tonight as part of Westside Gunn’s Machine Gunn Black Friday — an event that WSG claims is worth flying in for.

More of the same empty fake drug talk. Griselda is played out. They have the sound of old school rap wu tang mobb deep but they lack substance. It gets boring after a while. Conway is the most talented but he seems lazy. Westside has the most soul but less talent but that supreme blientelle is a classic mark my words 10 years from now its gonna sound like classic opera the way things are going.

Personally, I love this Griselda shit. Been bumpin it for about 3 years now. I think people will catch on in time because they still stuck on the south. This the only NY shit I even listen to… no disrespect. Tana Talk is actually I think the most consistent of all they projects. This one is especially fire.
