GloRilla Clears Up Pregnancy Rumors After Baby Bump Photo Goes Viral

GloRilla has debunked pregnancy rumors after a photo of her holding what appears to be a baby bump resurfaced online.

The photo was originally posted to Facebook back in 2019 accompanied by the caption: “I’m having a baby APE.” After the image recirculated on social media and sparked speculation about the “Tomorrow 2” rapper being pregnant, the Memphis native took it upon herself to set the record straight.

In a Facebook post on Thursday (January 19), Big Glo revealed she was “just playing” when she took the photo, but did admit to once having an abortion.

“Now why am I trending?????” she wrote. “Don’t forget I blocks [the fuck] outta people. Don’t get blocked for laughs. [And] y’all slow [as fuck]. I was [just playing] on [that] picture. Nobody knew when I actually was pregnant till it was gone.”

It’s unclear when the CMG rapper had an abortion, but she rhymed about it last year on her “Nut Quick” track.

“Found out I was prеgnant, got it gone and I ain’t fuck since,” she rapped.

GloRilla again touched on her abortion in a Facebook post last December, saying she “threw a release party” after leaving the clinic.

“Shittttt i threw a release party soon as I left dat mf clinic,” she wrote in response to a post that read: “Every girl took her first abortion hard [crying face emoji].”

On the music side, GloRilla blossomed into a star with a prolific 2022 campaign which earned her HipHopDX‘s Rookie of the Year crown.

The Grammy-nominated rapper isn’t letting up either, as she recently teamed up with CMG running mate Moneybagg Yo for the toxic “On Wat U On.” Her major label debut is currently in the works.

Earlier this month, Big Glo was named in the Recording Industry Association of America’s Class of 2022 after earning her first gold certification for her hit collaboration with Cardi B, “Tomorrow 2.”
