GloRilla is head over heels after meeting Beyoncé for the first time at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

The 65th annual show was a major night for Big Glo, who was not only nominated for the first time for her breakout single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go),” but also hit the stage for the first time as part of the Hip Hop 50 Tribute.

“I met Beyoncé bye !!!!!!! My life is COMPLETE,” GloRilla wrote with a quick selfie video alongside the legendary singer.

“F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” was up for Best Rap Performance but ultimately lost out to Kendrick Lamar‘s “The Heart Part 5.”

This didn’t put a damper on the Memphis native’s night, however, and she brought nothing but great energy to the stage that she got to share with legends among the likes of De La Soul, Queen Latifah, Public Enemy, Rakim, Method Man, The Lox, Missy Elliott and more as part of the LL Cool J and Questlove-curated Hip Hop 50 performance. Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Baby were the only other acts chosen to represent the current generation of Hip Hop alongside Big Glo.

Beyoncé had quite the night as well, becoming the most awarded artist in the history of the Grammy Awards as she picked up her 29th through 32nd wins.

After missing her first three awards of the night — two of which were presented before the televised portion of the 65th Grammy Awards on Sunday night (February 5) — the singer took the stage to accept the trophy for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance.

“Thank you so much, I’m trying not to get too emotional; I’m trying just to receive this night,” Beyoncé said while holding back tears. “I wanna thank God for protecting me. Thank you God. I’d like to thank my uncle Johnny, who’s not here… but he’s here in spirit. I’d like to thank my parents – my mother, my father – for loving me and pushing me.

“I’d like to thank my beautiful husband,” she continued, “my beautiful three children who are watching at home. I’d like to thank the Queer community for your love and for inventing this genre.”

Bey went into the evening with nine nominations, pushing her career total to 88. This makes her the most nominated artist in Grammys history — only tied with her husband JAY-Z.
