Fashawn “The Ecology” Release Date, Cover Art, Tracklist & Album Stream

After a long road to release, Fashawn’s sophomore album is finally here.

The rapper’s 13-track Mass Appeal debut features Nas, Aloe Blacc, BJ the Chicago Kid, and more. Fash’s longtime collaborator Exile handles production on more than half of the record with assistance from the likes of DJ Khalil, Alchemist, and Beewirks elsewhere.

Last year, Fashawn spoke with HipHopDX about Nas’ influence on the release.

“He told me his favorite songs on the album,” he said. “That really shocked me. I didn’t know he was really paying attention like that. He should. He’s the boss, but you know, when he told me his favorites on the album…Well, one is this song called ‘Mother,’ produced by Exile, which you’re gonna hear soon. He said that’s one of his favorite songs and then a song called ‘Golden State of Mind’ is one of his favorites, as well.”

      1. Misread, my bad! I can see how someone can have gripes with the beat, little bit too poppy. I’m surprised The Alchemist produced it. I’m not too fond of Confess or Out The Trunk. ^ Pretty much agree with the dude up there saying the same.

    1. This is an incredible album. Even better than Boy Meets World which was fantastic as well. Great job Exile, Nas, and Fashawn. Nas’s new label has released 2 of the best rap albums I’ve heard in the last few years and both came out in a span of 4 months. Nas you are a genius.

    2. Fashawn doesnt play around,..Exile real authentic with this shit!!!..
Im not shure if Leter F fits in this album but Exile is killing!!!…love it tho!!!
Last joint is bananas produced by ATG,.Just remember now….peace

    3. Finally, a dope hiphop album 2 listen 2, but out the trunk and confess don’t fit the album. That last joint – Just remember shouldn’t be a bonus.

    4. By far the best hip hop album to come out this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a top 5 album by the end of 2015.

    5. This is pretty dope. Gettin this album for sure. Nas is a genius.

Im not feeling that other guy too much thought Dave East or whatever
