Philly’s Queen Bee has already conquered the music world, so following on the heels of the likes of Ice Cube, LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, and Ice T, she is now taking it to the big screen.
Eve will play a shop employee in The Barbershop, a comedy/drama that will begin shooting in January. It will also feature Ice Cube, Cedric the Entertainer, and Anthony Anderson. The film will follow the stories in a Chicago barbershop, owned by Cube, for one day- a day-in-the-life kind of movie.
Eve plays Terri, a shop employee who is being cheated on by her boyfriend. The movie should be released by MGM late next year.
