Eminem Talks Leaked Singles And Grammy Nominations

Eminem’s Recovery is currently ranked as the seventh album on Billboard magazine’s Hot 200, and it’s spent 27 weeks on the chart. Recovery is one of three Em albums occupying space on the Hot 200, as the double-platinum offerings Relapse (184) and Curtain Call: The Hits (155) also continue to chart. Eminem has gone on record many times explaining that he was unsatisfied with the direction Relapse took, going so far as to address it on “Not Afraid.” In a recent interview with Billboard, Em addresses the material he made between 2007 and 2010, which would presumably include recently leaked tracks such as “Syllables,” “Cocaine” and “Difficult.”

“I probably recorded about 15 songs,” Eminem told Billboard, recounting a 2009 trip to Hawaii with Dr. Dre. “And I think the latter half of those, probably about the last three or four felt lik, ‘OK, I’m starting to get back to normal again. This feels more like me now.’”

While Recovery boasts international sales of over 5.6 million, the album has enjoyed critical success too in the form of four Grammy nominations.

“I’m obviously happy with the way that people have received the album,” Em added. “As far as what I’ve accomplished with it, I don’t know. I’m just happy to be here. I’m happy to be able to have a career as long as I’ve had.”

It appears that same happiness could also spread to fans in the UK, as Eminem is reportedly in negotiations to co-headline this year’s V Festival with The Arctic Monkeys. The British tabloid The Daily Star cited an unnamed source while reporting that Rihanna was rumored to join Em for a live version of “Love the Way You Lie,” should he finalize the deal to co-headline the outdoor festival. Lineups for the V Fest are still somewhat fluid, but this year’s festival will take place in Staffordshire, West Midlands, and Essex, East England in August. More information is available at the official V Fest site.

      1. Fuck outta here dude. Em has grown up. His music is better now. Just like Jigga said : want the old me then buy my old albums! Em is running the game right now dawg

      2. no no no no, its okay to say things like this, no need to snap people, just be a little more specific in what your lookingf or. Is it the eminem that rapped at length about killing his wife, or the eminem that rapped about spending most of his past years getting high on drugs that nearly ended his life, or the eminem that does nothing but make fun of stupid celebrities? Which old Em are you looking for?

      3. I will say that whatever Eminem is doing, he’s doing it right. He’s everywhere right now. Personally, I liked his flow and the style of the beat on “Not Afraid” and Recovery was really good at first. Then I heard every song from 2010 that he’s featured on. Realize that songs like “Airplanes” and “I Need a Doctor” all sound EXACTLY like something you would hear on Recovery. He’s pushing it to the limits. Not saying that this style is bad, but every song coming from him is sounding the same recently. Am I the only person who’s picked up on this? Listen to “Not Afraid” then listen to “I Need a Doctor.” Listen to “Love the Way You Lie” then listen to “Cocaine.” He needs more versatility in his flow if you ask me. Some of you will argue “he’s making money so it doesn’t matter” but he’s going to sell records either way. Everybody is talking about how much Relapse sucked. If he hadn’t said it on Recovery, people would still be talking positively about Relapse. I personally liked Relapse more because he’s raw as fuck. You can tell that he made Relapse with raw hip-hop in mind. Recovery is less raw and more of a “neutral” album in a sense that you can tell he shaped that album to fit everybody’s standards and tastes. That was his “sell millions and become a hit” album. Relapse was his “spazz out and please the die-hard rap fans” album.

      1. She obviously knows who Eminem is. She likes him on her Facebook and has many posts about him on her wall, even calling herself a fan. I’m confused by this comment, however.

      2. wtf?? u dnt know who em is?? ae u fkin kidding me wtf are u even doin here u dnt repreent hiphop and rap pls fuck off i wont tell u who he is

      1. @Aaron Sanchez

Have you been in a cave? He remixed a P Diddy song. He did a lame 13 year old girl love song with Rihanna. Not to mention all of the attempts at singing on Recovery

    1. Recovery >>>>>>>> Relapse.

I did miss the old Em, but not anymore, because the old Eminem returned on Recovery! I’ve been a fan of Em since I was in 7th grade when the Slim Shady LP dropped in 99, and I can tell you for a fact that Relapse was pretty uninspired and lame compared to his previous work. I don’t know who you all know as the “old Em”, but I most def knew that the old Eminem I came up on (MMLP, Renegades, 8 Mile soundtrack etc) had finally returned after Forever, and the Despicable Freestyle. Recovery sealed the deal, I personally think it’s Eminem’s best album which is really an accomplishment since he’s got albums as solid as MMLP and the Eminem Show in his catalog.

I’m not sure where all this Eminem is now a “pop sellout” talk came from… his first big hit was My Name Is and the one that really blew him up was the Real Slim Shady, you cant get anymore pop than those tracks.

      1. co-sign with RealTalk100. realest shit i’ve heard in a while. if you hate on the despicable freestyle, you’re a joke. if you hate on recovery, you’re jealous. em is killing it along with a small handful of others, not because he’s white but because he’s so damn talented.

    2. You Eminem fans are the reason why the music industry is not about talent anymore. You say he’s “trying new things” and that he went 3x platinum and he’s “running the game.”

WHO GIVES A F— how much someone sells. When Kanye released 808s and Heartbreak, nobody gave him a break.

Just because your favorite artist sells a lot doesn’t mean you have to stop yourself from wanting a change in his music. Lil Wayne sells a lot, so you say that we should just let him do his thing?

      SMH

      1. sum treal talk right here on my momma tho!

people are waaaay too salty these4 days about music….im feelin this comment tho on tha real.

    3. It’s only wrong when Eminem does it, right?

      T.I.’s Live your live…its cool
      Lil Wayne’s R&B with T-Pain(T-Wayne)…it’s coooool
      Ludacris with Mary J…coooool
Eminem with Rihanna….OMFG he’s a sellout we want the old Eminem! teenage songs HUH!!$!@$

Look, Love the way you like is dope song, you can say whatever about it, but it got the right lines, the flow and everything.

Want some serious Eminem shit on Recovery?
      Listen to Seduction maybe….

      1. Ummm…who doesn’t think Lil Wayne sold out after Carter 3?

and Live Your Life was on Paper Trail, which was a dope album

the difference is recovery was just a poor album in my opinion

IMO, the quality of an artists music drops and they start working with the pop stars when I call them a sellout. I don’t mind if they make dope music but still work with pop stars

Eminem’s music quality has just dropped imo

        P.S. Relapse > Recovery

      2. packers you are right but u can also go fuck yourself just beacuse eminem is selling the most doesnt mean he sucks like u said. hes great makes tons of money and has it all ,veryy rare of tht to happen but em did it and ur giving him shit for it? em may not be the best rapper today but he dominates and thats all that matters , and KoD , couldnt of said it better myself.

      3. @G
I said several times that Recovery was just a wack album, I thought that even when it leaked before it sold one single copy.

Stop sucking his dick because he “has it all.”

I used to be the biggest Eminem fan until this overrated album dropped

    4. I am from the D and have followed Shady faithfully and honestly EM’s Best work are his diss track’s I was at the Slim Shady LP record release party at the State Theatre and other then The Comerica park Show with Jigga that was the best performance. Also any concert put on by his camp in or homies in Detroit (G-unit, Lloyd Banks. xzibit, he has either guest appeared or been in the building I mean Red and Meth’s Blackout tour you name it he’s been there. I guess what i am trying to say is NOBODY WILL EVER TOUCH SHADY ON WAX. Still to this day no Slim Shady but his delivery, lyrics, performance’s are nothing less then pure genius. “No Love” with Weezy fucking sick new track with T.I.P sick Love the way you lie pt 2! SHADY IS #1 Dead or Alive Yes there are some close number 2’s but EMINEM IS THE G.O.A.T!!!!!!!

    5. i thank folks is hatin so much on em is cuz he’s been around fo so long. dey know that they new favorite artist thats jerkin o makin dance muzik cnt go up against him lyrically. so they hate n say “aw na that white boy is pop now, fucc him.” if people really listened to his shit dey would kno he aint on drugs no moe so tha “old em” is gone. i liked realapse n recovery was pretty dope. name ONE rappa in mainstream hip hop that can go heads wit em otha den hova and a couple otha niggas. ill wait.

    6. the interview doesnt even mention those songs.. cocaine was probably 09 but no way was syllables or difficult, he was still drugged up and on that encore flow, 07 the latest

    8. Greatness inspires envy. Sellout? Yeah he sold out all right, every fucking record store. There’s only 5 rappers you can even make an argument for that can hang with Shady on the mic.

      1. an argument?

        Should I continue?

      2. Really ice cube? last time i checked dude fell off on his last album?? yea in his earlier days he had some classic shit but hes not on eminems level he dont take it that deep…

only people on that last i can agree with you on that can keep up but ARE NOT better are Nas Rakim and KRS……

Kool G was basically about freestyling and rhyming….

slick rick had a few but not many classic tracks

Big daddy kane…. had a nice collabo with pac … and of course the symphony track with kool g and them was a classic …. but how many classic albums all together did big daddy put out compared to Eminem

i think you need to go back to the 80s and early 90s cuz dawg, youre stuck there

      3. HAHAHAHAHAHAH @ the first reply

good thing you kept your name anonymous because that post made you look like a complete idiot. i actually got a chuckle out of it.

      4. an argument?
Negro Please You sound like another ignorant Stan

        patrick ewing >>>>> michael jordan
        scottie pippen>>>>> michael jordan
        rajon rondo >>>> michael jordan

now ya see how stupid that looks, thats wat u lookin like to every1 on here that actually knows a thing or 2 bout hip hop, hop off ever thread wit ems name on it nd go listen to gucci cuz nobody want u hear haterr

      6. Gucci sucks and should stop turning rap in CRAP.

Did u notice that Eminem had 16% of rap sales this year, so he helped rap have a sales surge plus he is nominated for 10 GRAMMIES now that’s good for rap and hating Eminem is hating rap cause he outsells everyone of all genres so hater shut up and more haters = success, look at Bieber wack ass.

Gucce Mae had .7% of rap sales in 2010 versus Eminem’s 15.8%, he outsole Gucci 21 times.

    9. I’m not the biggest jayz fan, but i study hip hop and jayz runs circles around em. em is dope, but he’s a comedic rapper with great lyrical skills. but jayz’ lyrical content is 40% more diverse than em. em’s lyrical content include humor, wit, drugs, personal family issues and some politics and positive topics. jayz raps about all of the above including the hood, good and bad aspects of street life, females, and basically SERIOUS ISSUES. jayz doesn’t have to make you laugh to get your attention. jayz doesn’t have to talk about his family issues on every album. jayz doesn’t have to shock you to get his point across… even though i havent always been a fan of jayz’ beat selection, i have to admit that jayz’ music is more timeless and less fadish than em. all of jayz’ albums collectively can be appreciated by non-rap fans, old people, business people, and the the youth. em’s audience is pretty much the MTV crowd. em is the modern day elvis. he’s talented and great but he doesn’t deserve the crown. i think people black and white feel they owe him the crown because he’s a talented white rapper. if he was black, he would be considered the number 2 or 3 greatest of all time. his body of work compared to jayz’ speaks for itself. jayz’ content range is much broader than em’s. also to prove my allegation that people are bias toward em because of his color, i remember when his first album came out most white kids immediately gave him the crown. wtf. so basically he was labeled the best before he even proved his worth. no other rapper was universally labeled the greatest rapper of all time from blacks or whites after his first album dropped, not nas, krs1, jay, pac or biggie. they all earned it except biggie. he was labeled the greatest ever from most new yorkers only after he died. my personal favorite of all time is pac and krs1. but jayz’ body of work compared to theirs is an obvious win for jayz.

      1. You study rap? What does that mean? And how is Eminem a comedic rapper? Ever listen to When I’m Gone? Stan? Rock Bottom? Or his entire last album? Em rapped about how poor he was on his entire first album. Jay-Z is a great rapper and will go down as one of the greatest but Em has better lyrical content, his flow his better and the way he rhymes his words is untouchable. Every rapper our there (including Jay) rhymes words while Em rhymes syllables, something that makes him stand out from every body else. Him being white helps him and hurts him. Some give him more credit because he’s white while others give him less because he’s white so don’t assume that the entire country thinks he’s the best because he is white. I personally think he is the greatest of all time because of his skills, not his skin color. And how did you come up with 40% more diverse? Did you do a study? If you did, please let me know so I can spit on it and tell you to stop making shit up and go off of facts, not assumptions.

      2. jeffjeff u dumdum… u make no sense quit talkin eminem a comedic rapper nd jayz raps about serious issues… gogo homehome azzholee

      3. sadkhas… haha.. ur an emotional drama queen. ur name should be sad ass.. the only reason i say that is because u say u want to spit on my study..lol what study u dumb ass. simply put,, ive been listening to rap since the early 90’s.. i didn’t do an official study u fukking idiot.. i already complimented em’s range which included humor, positivity, politics, and a others.. however em recycles the same topics over and over and over and over again.. jayz may recycle but he’s so witty with it that you can’t tell. with jayz you never feel feel like youre listening to part two of his last album.. each jay album brings something totally different.. and he can tell a complete story in a song regardless of the topic.. em delivers a lot of punchlines.. he tells complete stories everyonce in a while, but not enough for me to appreciate his ability to stay focused and not bore you.. he’s a punch line king.. yes,, metaphor king.. yes.. complete storyteller about life.. everyonce in a while.. like i said jayz’ music can be appreciated by many.. em can only be appreciated by hip hop heads and those who view him as the great hope… jayz was always a mature rapper.. do u remember em’s first and second album.. and his coutless comedic videos.. he’s a talented gimmick.. he had to make u laugh to get your attention. he has dressed up like a girl and some more shit.. youre telling me the g.o.a.t. dresses up like a woman??? he had to whacky videos to get your attention. jayz just raps.. thats hip hop..good lyrics, concepts and production.. all the other elements that make for great entertainment are fadish.. em is only relevant because the industry wants him to be your favorite rapper. like i said if he was latino, asian or black everyone would identify his talent as great, but no one would give him the number 1 spot.. hip hop for this generation mandates you entertain them with other elements not related to hip hop.. thats good for hip hop and innovation,, but when it comes down to the essence of rap its all about the lyrics and the beat.. not a sit-com\video.. em is a shock\character\rapper\ and he’s truly talented and gifted. but jayz is just a rapper. he didnt have to make a fool of himself to push units. i applaud em for being a smart brander of himself,, but branding is not the debate.. who can get your attention without being a gimmck is.. em has just matured recently mainly because he’s getting older.. jayz came in the game mature and has been consistent from day 1. Again i’m not knocking em’s hustle,, but jayz knocks em the fukkk out on every level except freestyling.. i think em is the best non-underground freestyler in the industry.. but that doesn’t make him the best rapper in the game.. so to all u emotional drama queens,, i invite you to say something that makes sense.. don’t just attack me because i hurt ur feelings.. if u say fukk tupac i’m not going to cry and get emotionally charged.. i don’t get paid from tupacs royalties, and none of you get paid from em.. so don’t react to my critisicm of him, as though he’s your family member. if em ever met you in real life he would probally ignore you… like most other rappers including jayz

      4. ha ha.. to yehh.. u right jeffjeff dumbdumb got his dumb masters degree from nyu at 24. i bet u still live with your mother and get money from your girl to smoke 420 all day.. u probally have no car, no job and a cheating girlfriend.. i bet you will be up all night listening to em because i hurt your feelings and u don’t have a job to go to in the morning.. jeffjeff so dumbdumb.. but u a waste of cumcum

      5. nahh sonn ill b up in 8 hours 4 work nd ill b gettin my degree next year thanx 4 askin tho, so wat that mean u gotta masters??? all u tellin me is that u can study real good but when it comes to proving a point or creating ur own opinnion ur a dud nd a fukin retard… shit nigga thinks cause he went to college he knows hip hop gotta take some of those classes… jeffjeff has a masters so he writes on blogs nd thinks that makes him smarter than every1 else… shuddup clown

      6. to yehh.. u a liar. i only brought it up because you were making childish attacks.. so i had to put your dumb ass in check.. youre right a masters don’t mean shit.. but u still a waste of cum.. male or female u a pussy. do us all a favor and erase yourself.

      7. Brian Waterman.. SuckkAAAA who the fukk says suckkaaa. and your making direct threats.. u emotional b!tch.. i’m not wasting my time to click on your youtube link.. ur a fukkg lame.. who responds with a youtube link??? are u serious.. get a fukkg life.. better yet drink some clorox

      8. pussyboy jeffjeff a fagfag.. hahahehe bitch.. your mother pussy stinks and your grandmothers mothers pussy will rot in hell with her bruised asshole… i must be a fag.. i like fucking your grandmother in the asshole.. i always spit on it first tho to ease the pain because my dick to big.. but she tell me stop spitting on her asshole she likes it rough.. and youre the one that has a profile picture with another dude.. i ain’t neva seen that shit before…. whos the fag.. fag

      9. jeffjeff pussyboy fagfag…hahahehe
you display bitch tendencies… you have profile pics with other dudes, you post youtube replies, you use the word succkkaaa.. bitch you just need to shut your computer off,, take a good look in the mirror and do some serious soul searching and go the fuck to bed and don’t wake up

      10. hey Brian is a bitch Waterman

        FUKKKKKKKKKKKKKK U!!!!!!!!!!!!
        (in German) Fick dich!
        (in french) Je t’encule!
        (backward)uoy kcuf
(in spanish) vete a la verga

    10. EMINEM is the GREATEST rapper EVER. G! O! A! T! There is NOBODY on EMS level. Not Kanye, not Jay, not Drake, not Wayne, not Pac or Biggie. EMS the ILLEST to EVER spit. Love EM, Respect EM, Listen to EM, Thank GOD we have EM!

      1. I can tell you are one of those extreme mainstream listeners since u prob never heard anything from Nas,Big L or Rakim or any track off Reasonable doubt cause if u did u wouldnt be on Eminem’s d***. I’m a big fan of eminem just not ignorant

      2. Hey anon, I listen to all of those rappers you mentioned, and I still think Eminem is one of the best. Reasonable Doubt is one of my favorite discs. Furthermore, I dig the underground and listen to as much non mainstream hip hop and rock as I can…so don’t just think that because someone likes Eminem a lot and thinks he’s one of the best means that he doesn’t listen good, non mainstream music, or doesn’t respect the other legends of hip hop.

    11. Hate all you want, success speaks for itself at this point

And dont be like “Uhhhhhhhh, Vanilla Ic sold records, does that make him dope, uhhhhhhhhh”

Vanilla Ice sold records for 2 years, Eminem just stepped into year 12 on top, theres a diffrence between a flash in the pan success and a legacy of success

Thats why it makes the haters so mad, all the bitching in the world hasnt been able to slow him down, most of the time people hate on something enough they eventually have an impact, except with Em & Jay

    12. Cocaine was def made while he was recording recovery

      Syllables was recorded during Encore

Difficult was prob recorded after curtain call but before or during the recording of relapse. Or it couldve been a throw away track from the Re-up

    13. I’m glad one of those Anonymous dudes said something…I had a strong feeling Syllables was recorded before or after Encore but I’m not too sure about Difficult. Cocaine sounds recent definitely. All good tracks I like Syllables the most though

      1. Cocaine was planned to be the first single off Relapse 2 but Em decided to change the direction of the album and made it Recovery. The guy who leaked it said so

    14. yehh.. u a liar. i only brought it up because you were making childish attacks.. so i had to put your dumb ass in check.. youre right a masters don’t mean shit.. but u still a waste of cum

      1. jeffjeff, u told em man. jay-z! iz way betta than feminem all day every day. jay!’z 3rd verse on thank you>feminem’z entire career.

        ROC NATION BITCH!

      2. lol mandy you gotta be kiddin me. please tell me you’re trollin this shit. if you were a true fan of jay-z you would know that thank you is by far not his best work. and anyways j. cole merked hov on that song with his single verse. don’t forget eminem destroyed jay-z on renegade!

      3. arrygirl, don’t u fuckin start dat shit. all u fuckin feminem stanz just say dat feminem killed jay-z! on renegade just bcuz nas said it on hiz wack azz diss song. jay! killed dat song wit da real lyricz and feminem wuz just spewin a buncha bullshit dat no1 wanted 2 fuckin hear.

“i aint no politician but ill kick it a minute”?
“see urself az a kid again and u get embarased”?
“u fuckin do gooderz 2 bad u didn’t do good at mariage”?
“jesuz christ king of da later day saintz”?
“easy az cake simple az whistlin dixie”?
“go 2 war wit da mormonz”?
“just a kid from da gutter”?

wut a buncha childish azz rhymez. i laugh when i listen 2 hiz versez cuz there so horrible. u should kill urself if u think those r classic linez. jay!’z “do u foolz listen 2 muzik or do u skim thru it?” line iz da most famouz line out da entire song. now who killed who u pussy azz nigga? and all of jay-z!’z work iz hiz best work, from him startin wit big jaz back in 88 until now, he neva had 1 wack song and all hiz versez are classicz. sumthin feminem will neva achieve. now b gone faggot!

      4. mandyyyyyyyyyyy is right.. jayz makes timeless classics. em makes good music.. yes.. but not timeless classics that appreciated by mature audiences and young audiences.. em is strictly for the kids… for example empire state.. em has never made a song that mature and universal.. and still dope… no em wouldnt even sound right on a song like empire state… doing a song like Romans Revenge with Nicki Minaj is more his speed.. basically a song targeting the kiddies. don’t get it twisted, the song is sick, but not a classic like empire state.. but once again look at the targeted audience.. jayz can do a song with alicia keys and nicki minaj and make some classic shit if he chooses too. em is stuck in making music for the kiddie audience and young minded adults.

      5. i agree wit y’all a lot about the fact that eminem is targetting a younger era of people….but if you keep the lyrics to renegade in context “mandy (however many y’s) that’s very possibly eminem’s most intellectual verse ever…first off “i aint no politician but i’ll kick IT WIT EM a minute”…he’s referring 2 his height in society…a jus becuz i can thing….”now when you take a look at yourself n stare at who’s in the mirror…u see urself as a kid again and u get embarrassed”…referring 2 the fact that ppl criticize but what about wat u did wen u were younger? u did stupid shit 2….”u fucken do good it’s 2 bad u couldnt do good at marriage”…dude’s talkin bout the risin divorce rate…and sayin u act all goody good but u cant even hold ur family together so how u gonna talk….the rest of the shit i aint botherin cuz honestly it seems like ur jus too SIMPLE MINDED to really get the complexity of it…therefore u dont like it…people hate wat they dont understand….now remember i am agreeing wit u about jay being for a more mature audience…but reality is u got a lot twisted….sry…jus sayin

      6. yo mandy first off, “LOSE YOURSELF”, and second jay z admitted himself that eminems verse was better on renegade so what do u have to say bout dat?, um kingdom come was hot garbage…. and empire state is only such a classic because new york city loves to hear a song about new york da yankees won da series dat year and played it all over da city for da rest of 09 and beyond……………. o ya and dis is coming from someone who thinks jayz one of the best rappers of all time i just aint no blind dick rider dat decided sinse i like jay i have to like his music wether its good or bad

      7. Ever since I started bloggin’ on this site…y’all comments ‘r cool even tho there’s a bunch with bullshit BUT…Manddyyyyyyy u irritate the living shit outta nigga’s ass, DAMN!! Follow Rihanna, Usher & Lady Gaga on Twitter or some other shit like Pink Fridays on Facebook, BITCH!! Talkin’ all dat faggot shit.

      8. oh ya JeffJeff you got it all right…YOUR a fucking dumbass SURE jayz is classic and his songs appeal a wider age group, but for some reason the stats say differently…eminem has sold 80 million records..looks like more people like his shit then jayz and everyother rapper out there

    15. Man fuck this nigga. He’s flat out sucks. He only sold 1 copy for Recovery. The Grammys only picked him because they felt sorry for him. Even Vanilla Ice murked this nigga. You should check out Matty B Rap. That nigga is good. A 7 year old rapper is gonna be a a future True Hip Hop Legend.

      It’s Gucci Time!

      1. Gucci shut up and listen to Eminem. Gucci is slow and em will rap circles around your piece of shit crapper.

Eminem is real cause he’s from D town, not Atlanta cause they ain’t hardcore they just straight up wangsta

Eminem is real, so I will buy his albums just to help him get more haters with his success.

He outsold tupac and that deserves my respect.

      1. A bunch of these cats under me ‘r lames…pussies like Mandyyyyyyyyy [str8 bitches]. Surprisingly how cats like Eminem, its cool but I don’t feel his music, ain’t even have one Eminem CD, just tracks where he features. Personally I think Marshall is too Poppish 4 me to listen…Kid Rock or Limp Bizkit on tight & hard-ass rap beats…NO! Listening to someone telling me about slitting wrists, strangling girlfriend, wanting to kill mother & taking daughter to the mall on about 18 tracks…NO! Cool 4 y’all but I don’t respect your taste, PERIOD!!

    16. why you all fighting about whos the best ever…big l, eminem, pac biggie, jayz, nas, krs-one,rakim are all some of the best ever… who you think is the goat is a matter of opinion

    20. eminem is levels above every rapper out there. he realised that ppl wer sick of the zany, serial killer material(even tho on those songs his wordplay, story telling ability and flow is unrivalled) he was able to switch up his style to suit a new fanbase. greatest rapper alive, only modern rapper to rival him is lupe fiasco in my opinion

      1. Stan, you’ve to kill yourself definitely. Damn! I thought you drowned in your truck with your pregnant wife… Eminem isn’t the GOAT. He’s one of the best new era rappers. You’re just a cumguzzler who blows Em’ because he delivers fast and angry raps. Fast and angry raps aren’t necessary the best. Stop being an on heat groupie as soon as Eminem screams fast. Kool G can rap fast with complex lyrics, but he’s not overrated and oversucked like Eminem. Plus Eminem said in a book Kool G is one of his masters.

      2. Lankh: i said em was the greatest still doin it not g.o.at although he is top 5 in my opinion. i was praising his flow, storytelling and his metaphors and punchlines. i didnt mention about fast angry raps u idiot ur argument is just an exercise in futility.

      3. @ royjonesshuffle

I agree 100% on your 1st saying he is the greatest rapper alive n only lupe fiasco can rival him.

    21. Em is definitely one of THE best emcees EVER. I’m just not a fan of the “yelling voice” and “singing voice” of his. Renegade is a perfect example of when Em is in top form…In my opinion.

    22. On another note, Em can literally raps circles around any emcee in the game…Once again, in my opinion. And I’ve only purchased one of his records to date.

    23. Eminem haters are those that when:

Encore dropped: Eh! Encore sucks we want something like The Eminem Show and MMLP and SSLP…and eventually Infinite is his best album (just to look cool acting like you’re an old school fan)

Relapse dropped: WTF is wrong with Eminem and his accent man, I know he sold 600k first week but shit is wack with the accent.

Recovery dropped: This album is overrated and Eminem is a sell-out because he’s rapping about a (possibly married) couple who have relationship problem. (actually anyone can relate to this song but anyway) and when he decided to rap about another subjects you just ignore songs like “25 To Life” “Almost Famous” and “Seduction”, ok when he goes to show his emotional side and how much he loves his dead friend Proof in the song “Never Over” you guys go like: WTF Eminem sings too much stop singing (and you probably were OK with it when he did a similar “half singing song on Eminem SHow ) talking about Halie’s song.

You people just jump in the badnwagon seriously, if Recovery Dropped right after SSLP and Eminem show dropped after relapse, it wouldn’t make a different to you because that’s the badnwagon…Eminem sucks after 2005.

Tired of haters, I really am.

and ok call me a dickrider please

      1. Eminem sucks since 2004 -point blank and period. Encore is wack. On Relapse then Recovery he yells like a fuckin German bitch. Some songs are pretty much inaudible.

      2. Lankh actually he does not yell at all in Relapse and Recovery he speaks angry….idk where everybody got this fixation that Eminem is yelling…

List of Songs Eminem Does Not “Yell” On

        Cold Wind Blows
        Talkin’ 2 Myself
        On Fire
        W.T.P
        Going Through Changes
        Not Afraid
        On Fire
        Space Bound
        So Bad
        Love The Way You Lie
        Session One
        Ridaz…

Seduction/No Love/So Bad have partial “Yelling”

So I guess the only one that has any kind of yelling reallly is Won’t Back Down

Idk what your definition of yelling is, but he is talking angry, not shouting/yelling/screaming.

      3. KoD are you talking to me? Because I loved Recovery and I just picked No Love and Seduction because those are the 2 ones I think he does raises his voice a bit

      4. No. I know what you meant, I’m saying that what you said makes “Lankh” look bad, because he’s complaining about yelling while the yelling songs are some of top songs on Recovery IMO.

      5. yeah u call yourself a dickrider and u r that havin’ no any sense of music . u should know he is greatest cuz he worth it fuckin’ dumbass all in this site

      6. “eminem sucks since 2004”

        thats definetly fair to say..

you call ppl eminem haters, but i doubt you can even appreciate how good eminem was up to 8mile..
        so many classics

he came across 100% confindent, fluid, on point .. now thats rare

      7. I’m obviously not the one who said:”Aite, I’m not gonna trip. Eminem is a whackass bitch who doesn’t even love his own mother.”

He’s just a hater who had nothing left to say but imitating me in a wrong way.

        Poor haters…

      8. @KoD You’re just a cumguzzler. Every man who really appreciates Eminem knows he sucks since 2004. Are you enough retarded to say Encore is on the same level as The Eminem Show or MMLP ? Swallow your bullshits please or pay for otoplasty. And who the fuck are you to call me hater because I think he sucks since 2004 ? You Noriega ?

@K-Lam Sorry, Em raises his voice on Cold Wind Blows, Talkin’ 2 Myself, Won’t Back Down, No Love (I love his part though), Space Bound, Cinderella Man, 25 To Life, So Bad, Almost Famous, Love The Way You Lie (I love it though), You’re Never Over and Untitled. Maybe it’s the sound mixing… Just compare his Recovery voice to his MMLP voice for example.

      9. Didn’t say it was on the same level, noway I meant that, but you says Encore sucks like it’s really one of Vanilla Ice’s albums… get real you really just jump in the badnwagon.
Call me what you want, but Recovery is better than your favorite Rapper’s best album…

      10. @KoD Yeah I call you what I want… You’re an emotional CUMGUZZLER. Recovery is wack. BP3 is easily better than Recovery. There are good songs though, because Eminem is Eminem. Encore sucks like it’s a poor album compared to SSLP, MMLP and ES. You need an otoplasty dude.

      11. Eminem haters just think their opinion is really true, Encore Relapse isn’t better than his previous but they’re not wack, Eminem himself maybe didn’t like Relapse but I did, they’re not wack but they’re not as good as the old, Recovery comes in between those 2 eras, better than Relapse and Encore but you can’t say it’s better than the old but you can at least compare, and it was a perfect comeback better than his comeback on Relapse.
You can take all I said as an opinion and yeah you can call me what you want, but it’s not my opinion only…men lie women lie, but the numbers don’t.

      12. @KoD Relapse > Recovery, more substantial. Damn explain why you prefer a bitchy emotional album where Em yells like a German prostitute. I understand Em wanted to reinvent himself a lil bit, he stopped his bitchy blond hair, he seems more mature BUT take a piss…Eminem killed himself in 2004. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Em said “Around the tail end of Encore, the songs started getting really goofy”… it means what it means

      13. I know he said that, and that explains why Recovery and Relapse are better than Encore, but still he said at the “tail” and that doesn’t make the whole album goofy, there are good songs in there.
I found Recovery better than Relapse, but Relapse could be a better album, it’s only the matter of the opinion and what you found better.
I’m one of the people who really enjoyed Relapse where everyone was hating on Eminem.

    24. best rappers still doin it
