Speaking on Stationhead earlier this week, the Young Money rapper made a thinly-veiled reference to 53-year-old Wilson, saying: āIf someone were the age of, say, 53ā¦ do you think they should be messy on the internet? And if they have to be messy on the internet in order to get their coin, donāt you feel bad that they didnāt get enough coin before they turned that age?ā
She also implied that those posting negative content about her are being paid to do so and that they should āretire.ā

Responding to Nickiās comments, Wilson says: āI challenge the Barbz, and any little internet detective: where in the fuck have I dissed Nicki Minaj since December?ā
The former XXL editor-in-chief was referencing the screenshot he posted last year of Nicki Minaj twerking on Kai Cenatās Twitch stream which he sarcastically captioned: āHip Hop journalism,ā a nod to his criticism of high-profile rappers for snubbing Hip Hop media in favor of outside platforms.

Wilson later deleted the post and apologized to both Minaj and Cenat ā but not without facing the wrath of the āSuper Bassā star.
YN, who interviewed Nicki for his CRWN series back in 2012, insists that was the last time he posted anything critical about her online.

āWhy is she dissing me to her Barbz, her insane fanbase?ā he continues. āSheās built in her mind that Iām on the internet or social media doing negative things towards her. First of all, she blocked me on Twitter so she doesnāt know what the fuck Iām doing on Twitter.ā
After co-host DJ Hed interjects and points out that an artist of Nicki Minajās stature is most likely kept informed of any negative coverage of her, he replies: āBut where are the receipts from the Barbz? I havenāt done anything to her! Why now, however many months later? This was in December; weāre in August now. So thatās, what, nine months later?ā
Referencing his aforementioned post, he adds: āI took it down because I regretted doing it. But sheās saying Iām continually on the internet doing things to try to sabotage her career. Thatās just playing to her Barbz. Iāve done nothing against her. Thereās no action ā other than that action. Thereās no proof!ā
One theory behind Nicki Minajās gripe, as Wilson explains, is that he has secretly been working with longtime friend JAY-Z and Roc Nation to ābuild Megan Thee Stallion into a rival of hers.ā

Dismantling that argument, Wilson says: āIf you go to my feed, I donāt even post Meg that much! I post probably Ice Spice more than I post Meg. But sheās got a problem with Ice Spice too.
āThen Iāve always said I love Cardi B, and you canāt love Cardi B and love Nicki ā thatās always my position. I think Nickiās the G.O.A.T. and for a long time I felt Cardi was the best currently at that time.ā

āI get that part, but anything specifically negative towards Nicki from me has not happened since that one incident in December,ā he adds. āSo why randomly do I wake up yesterday and sheās doing her Stationhead secret society counsel meeting with her Barbz, speaking cryptically about things? She says, ā53 years old,ā which makes it clear sheās talking about me.ā
Wilson, a 30-plus-year-veteran of Hip Hop media, also isnāt happy about his age being used against him by both Nicki and others: āWhy is everybody on my dick about my age? Pause. Iām fifty-muthafucking-three. You should be thanking me that Iāve lived that long and Iām still the man I am and Iām still that n-gga.ā
