Earlier this month, Kid Sister earned the acclaimed DXnext spot [click here], amidst a bidding war that was confirmed ended today, with her signing to Downtown Records. The label is home to Gnarls Barkley, Mos Def and dance outfit Justice. The deal will keep her as a Fools Gold artist, and a release is expected later in the year.
