DXNext Alum Stevie Stone Admitted to Hospital, Cancels Shows

DXNext alumnus and Ruthless Records artist Stevie Stone, was admitted into a hospital this week in his hometown Columbia, Missouri, to be treated for a severe throat infection which may require surgery, according to his publicist.

The hospitalization forced the rapper to cancel his tour dates in St. Louis and Kentucky last month, as well as a May 7th show at the Black Sheep in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Stone had been headlining his own shows in support of his current album, “New Kid Comin,” as well as opening for Tech N9ne, when he became ill. These tour dates have been postponed:

April 23 – Blueberry Hill Nightclub, St. Louis, Missouri
April 30 – May 2 Kentucky Derby performance, Louisville, Kentucky
May 7 – The Black Sheep in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Stone’s debut album, New Kid Comin’ is in stores now on Ruthless Records.
