DX News Bits: The Clipse, C-Murder And 50 Cent

Shortly after performing “Runaway” alongside Kanye West at the 2010 Video Music Awards, The Clipse’s Pusha T confirmed that the duo is in fact signed to West’s G.O.O.D. Music.

“I’m definitely signed with G.O.O.D. Music. I’m definitely doing my solo project through G.O.O.D. Music,” Pusha T revealed to MTV News.

Pusha T also revealed to MTV personality Sway that a Clipse album is in the works.

“The Clipse is definitely coming with a new Clipse project,” said Pusha T. “We’re definitely coming with the Re-Up Game project. The family is still here, man. It’s just all about G.O.O.D. Music, straight up.”

In other Hip Hop news Cyrus Webb, a Mississippi-based writer, plans on penning a biography on the life of now incarcerated rapper C-Murder.

“There is so much more to him than what has been written about on blogs, turned into jokes about his name and even what it is alleged that he did,” says Webb in a statement. “He admits he was no saint, but everyone deserves to have their story told.”

The biography will focus on a number of moments in C-Murder’s life including his life in New Orleans, No Limit Records, the rapper’s legal problems, and more.

The tentative title for the biography is “C-MURDER: A TRU Soldier’s Journey” and Webb is hoping to finish writing the book by November of this year. C-Murder is currently serving life in prison for a 2002 murder.

According to a handful of Tweets made yesterday (September 13) rapper 50 Cent has signed on to a “big deal” although he didn’t reveal many details in regards to the deal.

50 Cent’s Twitter posts in regards to the deal were made shortly after he performed at the Eminem/Jay-Z show at New York City’s Yankee Stadium.
